Natural Gas and LPG installations

For some years now the Natural Gas is present in the Greek energy scene due to its environmental and technological advantages.

The consultancy has followed up on the introduction of this source of energy in Greece and has designed and constructed many installations.

It is capable of designing and constructing any type of NG installation for the following types of buildings :

• Restaurants and entertainment establishments

There is also considerable experience in the fields of cooling and electricity production with the use of NG.

Additionally, the new code for LPG installations has clearly set the rules for the design and construction of such installations in Greece.

The consultancy is in position to undertake any LPG installation work.




Benefits from using Natural Gas heating:

1. Single family house of 200 sq.m. living space
Typical heat losses 30.000 kcal/h, central heating plant operating from October till March, consumption 30.000 / 0,85 = 35.294 kcal/h
Diesel oil consumption 3,5 kg/h = 26 kg/d, therefore total annual consumption 5.040 kg costing today 3.276€.

Using natural gas cost -20% therefore 2.621€ + fixed charges 35,24 p.a. = 2.656,24€

Approximate cost of natural gas installation:

Total	2.802€

Therefore the cost of the installation will be recuperated in 2.802 / 3.276-2.656,24 about 4,5 years


2. Multi family dwelling of 1.000 sq.m. living space.
Typical heat losses 120.000 kcal/h, central heating plant operating from October till March, consumption 120.000 / 0,85 = 141.176 kcal/h
Diesel oil consumption 14 kg/h = 112 kg/d, therefore total annual consumption 20.160 kg costing today 13.104€.

Using natural gas cost -20% therefore 10.483,20€ + fixed charges 35,24 p.a. = 10.518,44€

Approximate cost of natural gas installation:

Design and construction (piping + burner)	2.420€
Administrative charges (Gas Company)	100€
Connection charges	750€
Total	3.270€

Therefore the cost of the installation will be recuperated in 3.270 / 13.104-10.518,44 about 1,5 year!
